Budget Committee

Members of Washington County's Budget Committee listen as Jerry Boyd, the county×ÔοÊÓƵ director of schools, presents an overview of the proposed new education budget on Thursday.


The Washington County Board of Education has submitted a $100.9 million budget for the new fiscal year that includes mandatory raises for teachers and support staff.

The proposal includes a $2,095 flat increase for for all certified personnel, a $1 per hour increase for all classified employees, a 3% wage increase for non-certified supervisors and a 3% increase for certified supervisors and administrators.
